Boutique Clothing Store Opens in Crystal

A new boutique has opened its doors in the Crystal Gallery Mall.

It’s called Unique Fashion & Accessories, and for its owner, it’s been a long time in the making.

Inside, you can find exactly what the store’s name suggests: a variety of unique clothing and accessories.

Currently, it’s stocked primarily with men’s and women’s clothing. There’s also a kids’ section in development.

Owner Betty Sanders started the business in her basement in New Hope 10 years ago.

“I love looking nice,” Sanders said. “I love having other people look nice. When you look good, you feel good.”

She says she’s excited to share her passion for clothing with others in the new storefront.

The business is located at 5522 West Broadway, next to the Home Choice.

The city of Crystal held a ribbon cutting on Tuesday night.

Unique Fashion & Accessories is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Before opening in Crystal, Sanders had a brick-and-mortar location in Brooklyn Center.
