Wayzata Volleyball Wins Five Set Battle with Champlin Park
The Wayzata girls volleyball team outlasted Champlin Park in five sets Tuesday in a non-conference match-up of section opponents.
The teams traded winning sets with the Trojans ultimately winning 25-23, 19-25, 25-20, 25-27, and 15-12. The Trojans outscored the Rebels 7-2 to close out the match.
With the win the Trojans improve their record to 12-9 while the Rebels drop to 14-7. Section tournament play begins October 21st in 5AAAA.
