Wayzata Volleyball Beats Champlin Park
The Wayzata volleyball team beat Champlin Park in four sets Thursday night to stay undefeated this season.
The Trojans won 25-18, 21-25, 25-23, 25-15.
It was a semifinal match in the unofficial impromptu Section 5AAA tournament.
Once it was announced that the volleyball season would shut down this week due to rising COVID-19 numbers in Minnesota, the coaches quickly put together the two-night mini tournament.
Wayzata meets another unbeaten team, Maple Grove, Friday night for the championship.
