Wayzata Softball Takes High Scoring Battle
The Wayzata softball team beat Hopkins 10-9 in a high scoring, back-and-forth battle.
It’s the first Lake Conference win of the season for the Trojans, and fourth win overall.
Hopkins scored three times in the first inning, but that wasn’t nearly enough in this game.
Wayzata responded with four runs in the second inning to take a 4-3 lead.
Hopkins tied the score a couple of times but the Trojans kept scoring to pull out the win.
