Wayzata Legion Baseball Doubles Up Annandale in Sub-State 10 Opener
In the first round of the Sub-State 10 Legion baseball tournament, Wayzata scored six unanswered runs to earn a 6-3 win over Annandale.
In the top of the third, Annandale scored all three of their runs, sparked by an RBI double from Carter Lampie.
The Wizards responded in the fourth inning with three runs, including RBI doubles from Adam Deselich and Dylan Smith.
Deselich finished the game with two RBI’s and Matthew Welk came in to close on the mound for the Wizards.
Wayzata will now face Osseo Friday at 2:30 pm.
