Wayzata Girls Soccer Team Rallies Past Minnetonka
The Wayzata girls soccer team overcame a slow start to rally past Minnetonka 2-1 Thursday evening.
Alex Dittrich opened the scoring on a free kick for Minnetonka in the first half.
Dana Bruer’s nice pass set up Abby Brantner for the tying goal later in the first half for the Trojans.
The go-ahead goal came as a long free kick by Ramira Ambrose resulted in a header goal for Reegan Smith for Wayzata.
The Trojans are now 1-1 this season.
