Wayzata Girls Soccer Shuts Out Rogers 6-0, Wins 6AAA Title
The Wayzata girls soccer team won their fourth section final in a row with a 6-0 shut out win over Rogers.
The Trojans had six different goal-scorers with Mikayla Adams scoring in the first half and Meghan Sullivan, Tenley Senden, Ava Nayer, Grace Estby, and Alex Vellieux all scoring in the second half.
Wayzata heads into the state tournament with a 18-1-0 record. The Trojans will look to win their first state championship since 2012.
State tournament seeding will take place Saturday as the Trojans find out who and where they’ll play in their Class AAA state tournament quarterfinal match next week.
