Wayzata Girls Soccer Edges Hopkins in 6AA Tournament
The Wayzata girls soccer team edged Hopkins 2-1 in the Section 6AA quarterfinals Thursday.
The Trojans scored the only goal of the first half.
Hopkins tied the game in the second half before Meredith Hedtke’s goal gave Wayzata the win.
The Trojans are the defending section champions.
They play at Minneapolis Washburn in the semifinals Saturday.
