Wayzata Girls Lacrosse Rallies Past Buffalo
After Buffalo took a 7-3 lead in the second quarter, the Wayzata girls lacrosse team stormed back to score an 11-8 win in Lake Conference play Thursday.
The Trojans scored twice in the last 1:18 of the first half to pull within 7-5, then outscored Buffalo 6-1 in the second half to secure the win.
Ainsley Owens scored five goals for Wayzata, with Evie Marks adding three and McLean Roeder two.
Hattie Toussaint, Adellita Nelson, and Jasmine Jorgensen each had two goals for Buffalo.
Wayzata is now 7-2 and Buffalo is 7-3.
