Wayzata Boys Volleyball Wins Section 6
The Wayzata boys volleyball team won the Section 6 championship Wednesday with a three-set sweep of Edina.
The Trojans won 25-22, 25-22, and 25-18 to qualify for the second MSHSL-sponsored state tournament next week.
Wayzata (23-8) had split their two Lake Conference matches with the Hornets during the regular season.
The state tournament begins June 9th at the University of St. Thomas.
