Wayzata Boys Soccer Wins Section Title
The Wayzata boys soccer team won a section title Tuesday night.
The Trojans beat St. Louis Park 1-0 in overtime in the Section 6AA championship.
Jake Ogle was credited with the winning goal when his pass deflected off two different Orioles players and into the net.
It’s the second consecutive overtime win for Wayzata, the fifth seed in Section 6AA.
Wayzata will make its third straight state appearance; the Trojans won the AA title last fall.
