Wayzata Boys Soccer Team Ousted
The Wayzata boys soccer team was ousted from the state tournament Thursday.
The Trojans lost 2-1 to Lake Conference rival Minnetonka in the class AA quarterfinals.
That’s after Wayzata had won both regular season meetings against the Skippers.
Alejandro Ferrer-Lugo assisted on Minnetonka’s first goal and scored the game-winner on a header.
That goal came with about fifteen minutes left in regulation.
