Wayzata Boys Soccer Shuts Out Armstrong in Section 6AAA Final
The Wayzata boys soccer team shut out Armstrong 3-0 in the Section 6AAA final Tuesday to claim their program’s third section title in four years.
The Trojans scored on two goals in the first half, first from Tyler Maahs off a corner kick and then Noah Nelson on a free kick.
Wayzata added some insurance in the 60th minute with a goal from Aaron Kibaya.
Class AAA state tournament seeding will be announced this weekend.
