Wayzata Boys Soccer Loses to Top-Ranked Edina
The Wayzata boys soccer team lost to top-ranked Edina 2-0 Tuesday on the Hornets’ home field.
The teams battled to a scoreless first half before Edina broke through for two second-half goals.
Wayzata goalkeeper Perrin King made several key saves but the Hornets were relentless in attacking the net.
Wayzata hosts Lake Conference newcomer St. Michael-Albertville Thursday.
