Wayzata Boys Soccer Beats STMA to Stay Unbeaten
The Wayzata boys soccer team beat St. Michael-Albertville 3-0 Tuesday to stay unbeaten this season.
The Trojans got on the board just over twelve minutes into the contest on Jackson Widman’s header off a Charlie Piller corner kick.
Piller added a goal on a penalty kick in the first minute of the second half to make it 2-0.
Miles Redmond added an insurance goal off a feed from Jeremy Cordeiro late in the game to make the final 3-0.
Wayzata improved to 7-0 with the win. They are now ranked number one in class AAA after knocking off previously top-ranked Minneapolis Washburn Saturday.
