Wayzata Boys Soccer Among State’s Best in ‘21
Expectations are high again for the Wayzata boys soccer team in 2021.
The Trojans finished last season with a 12-1-1 record and ranked number one in the state, but there was no state tournament because of the pandemic.
The team features some high-end talent including defenders Miles Akhigbe and Peter Melquist, goalie Jack Roach and forward Joe Highfield.
Wayzata opens the season Thursday at Edina.
