Wayzata Boys Lacrosse Beats Maple Grove
The Wayzata boys lacrosse team beat Maple Grove 11-7 in the Section 8 semifinals.
The Trojans are the three-time defending section champions, but won just three times this regular season.
Wayzata built a 4-1 lead in the first half.
That lead grew to 10-3 in the third quarter before the Crimson made a push to get back in it.
Wayzata meets top seed St. Michael-Albertville for the section title Wednesday.
