Benilde-St. Margaret’s Boys Lacrosse Rallies to Beat Wayzata
The Benilde-St. Margaret’s boys lacrosse team rallied in the fourth quarter to beat Wayzata 10-8 to win the Section 5 championship.
The Red Knights, defending state champions, were the number two seed behind the Trojans in this year’s section tournament.
BSM outscored Wayzata 5-1 in the fourth quarter.
The Red Knights (13-3) begin play in the state tournament Tuesday at Eden Prairie High School.
Seeding for the eight state tournament teams takes place Saturday.
