State Class AAA Girls Golf Round One Highlights
The state class AAA girls golf tournament started with hot weather and some strong performances.

Kathryn VanArragon of Blaine shot a 65 to lead the individuals.
Clara Halverson of Benilde-St. Margaret’s is tied for fifth after shooting a 75.
Saachi Deshmukh of Wayzata is tied for 15th after recording a 79, along with Emma Hoen of Benilde.
Julia Contreras had Maple Grove’s best round with an 80.
The tournament wraps up Wednesday at Bunker Hills in Coon Rapids.
