Providence, Minnehaha Tie 1-1 in Girls Soccer
In a battle of two of the best girls’ soccer teams in Class A, the Providence Academy and Minnehaha Academy sides played to a 1-1 draw Tuesday.
Maddyn Greenway scored early in the first half for the Lions’ only goal, giving the sophomore 15 goals in just four matches so far this season.
Greta Carlson leveled the score at 1 with her goal for the RedHawks midway through the second half. Providence freshman goalie Audrey Steeves played a strong match, stopping 15 shots.
