Providence Girls Soccer Blanks Breck 1-0
The Providence Academy girls’ soccer team won its eighth match of the season Tuesday with a 1-0 shutout of Breck.
Avery Lampe scored on a header off of a Tatum Janezich corner kick with under 13 minutes to play in the second half for the only goal of the match.
Grace Counts posted the shutout in goal for the Lions (8-2-0), who are ranked fifth in the state in Class A.
The Mustangs (4-5-0) are ranked third. Breck beat Providence Academy earlier this season.
