Providence Academy Girls Soccer Rolls into State Semifinals
Maddyn Greenway and Avery Lampe each scored three goals in the first half to lead the Providence Academy girls soccer team to a 9-1 win over Pine Island/Zumbrota-Mazzepa in the quarterfinals of the state Class A girls soccer tournament.
The Lions (17-1-1) scored seven times in the first half to advance to next week’s state semifinals.
Providence will play fourth-seeded St. Paul Academy Tuesday at 5:00 pm at U.S. Bank Stadium.
