Providence Academy Girls Soccer Loses for First Time this Season
The Providence Academy girls soccer team lost their first game of the season Tuesday, coming up short against Blake, 3-1.
University of Minnesota commit Livi Abboud-Young scored twice for the Bears.
The Lions’ lone goal of the game came early in the second half on a penalty kick from Beckett Greenway.
Providence Academy’s goalkeeper Audrey Steeves came up with a handful of big saves but the Bears were able to find the back of the net twice after the Lions tied the game up.
Providence Academy is now 4-1 on the season and will face Minnehaha Academy on Thursday.
