Providence Academy Girls Soccer Beats Breck
Defending state class A girls soccer champion Providence Academy improved to 9-1 this season with a 3-1 win over Breck Tuesday.
Maddyn Greenway scored on a penalty kick just under ten minutes into the contest to give Providence a 1-0 halftime lead.
Mariana Chase set up Beckett Greenway for a breakaway goal about ten minutes into the second half to make it 2-0.
Breck’s Akilah Anderson scored from long range to get the Mustangs on the board before Elise Jensen scored on a rebound late in the game for Providence.
The Lions are rated number one in class A.
They have a rematch against the only team to beat them this season when they face Blake Thursday.
