The 2019 Prep Bowl is right around the corner! This year’s Class 6A final features two of our local CCX Sports teams: Wayzata and Champlin Park.

The Wayzata Trojans are your 2019 6A Prep Bowl Champions! They win 35-20 and finish off the undefeated season with a 13-0 record. Congratulations to the Wayzata Trojans on their 4th Prep Bowl title!

Champlin Park and Wayzata will battle for the Minnesota State High School 6A football championship Friday 11/29 at 7pm at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

Wayzata Football Eyes Prep Bowl Title

Wayzata Football Eyes Prep Bowl Title Wayzata’s football team looks to finish its season undefeated as the Trojans prepare for Friday night’s Class 6A Prep Bowl showdown with Champlin Park. The Trojans (12-0) have defeated Centennial and Lakeville South in the state playoffs in reaching the Prep Bowl for the first time since 2011. Kickoff for the Class 6A title game is scheduled for 7:00 pm Friday at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Champlin Park Football Set for Prep Bowl

The Champlin Park football team is playing in the Prep Bowl for the first time since 2002. The Rebels come into Friday night’s Class 6A state championship game with an 11-1 record and own state playoff wins over Rosemount and Lakeville North. Kickoff for the Rebels’ game with top-ranked Wayzata is scheduled for 7:00 pm Friday night at U.S. Banks Stadium.
