Champlin Park Football Gets Set for Eden Prairie Playoff Matchup
The Champlin Park football team has been somewhat of a surprise success story this fall. A junior heavy team that was 4-6 last fall carries an 8-1 record into a big matchup with one of Minnesota’s premier football programs, Eden Prairie.
Champlin Park opened the class 6A playoffs with a 28-0 win over Roseville. They know the going will get tougher this week.
Champlin Park head coach Nick Keenan played for Eden Prairie, and the teams scrimmage each August before the start of the season.
Kickoff is set for 7:00 Friday night at Champlin Park.
