Park Center Wrestling Team on the Rise
In a sport where many local teams are struggling to fill out a lineup, Park Center’s wrestling team is on the rise.
The Pirates have gone from about 15 wrestlers to 40 in the past five years.
That growth includes a number of female wrestlers in the program.
Park Center’s success is growing too.
The Pirates are 5-2 and have defeated teams like Maple Grove and Rogers that usually beat them.
Park Center has a few individuals who should be legitimate contenders to reach the state tournament.
