Park Center Wrestling Falls to Rogers
In a good back and forth match, the Park Center wrestling team lost 41-32 to Rogers Thursday as part of a tri-meet at Park Center.
Park Center surged into the lead 17-12 after back to back pins at 127 and 133 pounds.
Rogers won three of the next four to go up 29-23.
Park Center’s Jacob Hansen scored a big win at 189 pounds as he edged Grady Weinbrenner 3-1 in a matchup of wrestlers who are ranked in the top ten at 172.
Park Center’s Ahmir Adamu scored a pin at 215 pounds to bring the Pirates within 35-32 before fourth-ranked Sawyer Josewski of Rogers closed it out with a pin in the heavyweight match.
