Park Center Boys Basketball Shoots for Championship Run
The Park Center boys basketball team comes into the 2023-’24 season ranked number one in class AAAA.
The Pirates have faced Wayzata in each of the past two state championship games, winning two years ago and losing in overtime last season.
Park Center has a good core group returning.
Point guard Casmir Chavis and center Chiang Ring are returning starters, while key subs Jackson Fowlkes and Aiden Memene will assume larger roles.
The Pirates open the season Friday at St. Louis Park.
