Amani and Quinton Hooker Camp Brings Basketball and Football to Youth
For the second straight summer, brothers Amani and Quinton Hooker held a one-day, two-sport camp for Brooklyn Park area youth.
Both are professional athletes. Quinton, a 2013 Park Center High School graduate, just finished his eighth year of professional basketball overseas- this past year in Italy. Amani, who graduated from Park Center in 2016, has played six seasons of football in the NFL, all with the Tennessee Titans.
The Hookers say it’s important to them to give back to the community where they were raised.
With the help of family and former teammates and coaches, campers from ages 8 to 14 could sign up for either, or both, the two-hour basketball camp in the morning or the two-hour football camp in the afternoon- both at Park Center.
Amani and Quinton say they plan to continue the yearly event in 2026 and beyond.
