Osseo Wrestlers Sweep District 279 Matches
The Osseo wrestling team beat District 279 rivals Park Center and Maple Grove Friday in a triangular meet.
Park Center opened the night by beating Maple Grove 40-30, winning eight of the last eleven matches.
Osseo defeated Park Center 47-25 in the middle match.
The Orioles jumped out to a 22-0 lead before Park Center rallied to within 26-21.
Osseo won by pin in the final three matches to pull away.
In the final match Osseo rallied for a 44-29 win over Maple Grove.
The Crimson took five of the first six matches for a 24-6 lead before Osseo stormed back.
The Orioles won seven of the last eight, including pins in the last four matches.
