Osseo Softball Overpowers Armstrong
The Osseo softball team is a young group but they broke out the bats in a 14-4 win over Armstrong.
Osseo scored in every inning except the sixth on the way to the win.
The game started with a lot of offense as each team scored two runs in the first inning.
Osseo broke it open with a six-run second inning, drawing five walks to help boost their offense.
Serena Lee and Maddie Deal did much of the damage for the Orioles in the middle of the order.
Lee and Deal each had three hits and drove in three runs.
Megan Wachholz hit a solo homerun in the seventh for the Orioles.
Kate Lightowler blasted a homerun in the second inning for Armstrong, with Elizabeth Brey adding three hits.
