Osseo Legion Baseball Beats Lino Lakes
The Osseo Post 172 American Legion baseball team scored a 4-1 win over Lino Lakes in North Hennepin league play Tuesday.
Isaac Johnson’s two-run double in the third inning gave Osseo the lead for good at 2-1.
They added single runs on a wild pitch and then on Travis Godfrey’s sacrifice fly.
Osseo is part of the eight-team Delano Stars and Stripes 4th of July tournament starting Thursday.
Wayzata, Champlin Park, and Hopkins are other local teams in that tournament.
