Osseo Baseball Loses to Anoka
The Osseo baseball team lost its fifth straight game Tuesday, losing 5-2 to Anoka in Northwest Suburban Conference play.
After each team scored a run in the first inning, Osseo went ahead 2-1 on a long double to left field by Isaac Johnson that scored Alex Chavez.
Anoka went ahead with two runs in the fifth, scoring on an interference call on a rundown and then an RBI single by Hunter Brunner.
The Tornadoes added a pair of runs in the sixth on a pinch-hit two-run single by Mick O’Mara to make it 5-2.
Carson Nedland pitched six innings to earn the win for Anoka, with Luke Folstrom pitching a 1-2-3 seventh in relief.
Brayden Haag went the distance for Osseo.
The Orioles fell to 2-6 with the loss. Anoka is 5-4.
