Olympic Joes: Hopkins’ Joe Fahnbulleh and Joe Klecker to Run in Olympics
Two former Hopkins High School runners will compete at the Olympics this summer in Tokyo.
2015 Hopkins graduate Joe Klecker secured his spot on Team USA by finishing third in the 10,000 meter run at the USATF Olympic Trials this past weekend.
Klecker was a standout runner at the University of Colorado and now runs professionally.
2019 Hopkins grad Joe Fahnbulleh will compete at the summer games for Liberia, where his parents emigrated from.
Fahnbulleh is the reigning NCAA champion in the 200 meters for the University of Florida.
The Summer Olympics start on July 23rd.
