Minnesota Aurora Soccer Features Local Talent
The Minnesota Aurora FC women’s soccer team is in its first year of existence. The club, based in the Twin Cities, features three women who played their high school soccer in the area.
Morgan Turner and Abby Brantner both played at Wayzata while Arianna Del Moral is from Brooklyn Park and played her high school soccer at Totino-Grace.
Aurora is part of the USL-W, a pre-professional league similar to junior hockey or collegiate baseball summer leagues.
The team is home for its first-ever playoff game Wednesday at TCO Performance Center in Eagan.
