Maple Grove’s Ava Dueck Pitches No-Hitter
Maple Grove’s Ava Dueck pitched a no-hitter with 12 strikeouts as the Crimson beat Edina 2-0.
The game was a quarterfinal contest at the state class AAAA softball tournament.
Dueck is the 39th pitcher to throw a no-hitter in the state tournament.
The Crimson scored single runs in the third and fourth innings to secure the win.
Maple Grove is playing East Ridge in the semifinals Thursday afternoon in North Mankato.
