Maple Grove Volleyball Beats Champlin Park in Season Opener
The Maple Grove volleyball team expects to have a strong season, and they showed why Thursday night.
As the shortened fall season due to COVID-19 started Thursday, the Crimson faced perennial power Champlin Park.
A very experienced Maple Grove squad came out on top, beating the Rebels 25-17, 26-24, 23-25, 25-12.
It showed that the Crimson can be a contender for the top spot in the Northwest Suburban Conference.
