Maple Grove Softball Routs Osseo 15-1, Wins Third Straight
A big seven-run second inning propelled Maple Grove softball to a 15-1 win over Osseo.
The Crimson were up 2-0 on the Orioles after the first inning.
A two-run triple from Ruby Gouette sparked Maple Grove in the second. That was followed by an RBI single down the third baseline from Kelsey Pautzke. Jordan Brustuen’s RBI double to centerfield capped the big second inning for the Crimson.
In the third, Sam Gustafson hit a two-run home run to centerfield to extend the Maple Grove lead.
Pautzke earned the win in the circle for the Crimson, who are now 5-2 on the season.
Osseo falls to 2-5 on the year.
