Maple Grove Softball Routs Osseo
The Maple Grove softball team routed Osseo 10-0 in five innings in the Section 5AAAA tournament.
Maple Grove scored single runs in the first four innings, leaving eight runners stranded.
They broke it open and ultimately ended the game with six runs in the bottom of the fifth.
Sophie Culhane had a homerun and a double and knocked in two runs.
Ellie Hosmann hit two doubles and drove in four runs.
Eva Dueck allowed two hits over five innings and struck out eight for the Crimson.
Maple Grove meets Champlin Park in the winner’s bracket final.
