Maple Grove Softball Powers Past Osseo
The Maple Grove softball team powered past rival Osseo for an 11-1 win in five innings Tuesday.
The game was played indoors at the Maple Grove Sports Dome.
The Crimson scored four runs in the bottom of the first inning to set the tone.
Elizabeth Berry hit a pair of two-run homeruns to key the Maple Grove offense.
Maple Grove improved to 2-0 with the win.
It was the season opener for Osseo under new head coach Tarek Morey.
