Maple Grove Softball Loaded With Talent for ’24
The Maple Grove softball team is eager for the snow to melt and get outside to play.
The Crimson are coming off a 23-3 season and a third-place finish in the state Class AAAA tournament.
Maple Grove returns all but two starters from last season and have the talent to again contend for conference and section titles.
With the graduation of all-state pitcher Maddie Wihlm, this year’s team will use a handful of players in the pitching circle.
But the team’s hitting should be strong with several strong offensive players back.
Maple Grove is scheduled to open the season Tuesday April 2nd at Rogers. Their home opener is set for April 8th against Centennial.
