Maple Grove Softball Gears Up for Season
The Maple Grove softball team is gearing up for the season with a young group after graduating nine seniors.
The Crimson enter their first season in the Lake Conference.
Maple Grove was 13-11 overall last spring.
They do have some key returners, including second baseman Ruby Gouette, shortstop/third baseman Sarah Zimmerman, centerfielder Emily Gornick, catcher Lexi Houg, and sophomore pitcher Merritt Walberg.
Maple Grove is scheduled to open the season Thursday April 9th at Hopkins.
Their home opener is slated for Monday April 13th against Eden Prairie.
