Maple Grove Softball Falls to Centennial
The Maple Grove softball team had a rough outing Monday, falling to Centennial 14-3 in five innings.
It’s the first loss of the season for the Crimson (5-1).
Centennial improved to 9-0.
The Cougars are ranked second in class AAAA, while Maple Grove is rated fifth.
Centennial scored four runs in the third inning and six more in the fourth to break the game open.
The Cougars slugged three home runs and had 17 hits in all.
