Maple Grove Girls Volleyball Beats Champlin Park
In a re-match of last year’s Section 5AAAA final, the Maple Grove girls volleyball team defeated Champlin Park in four sets in the teams’ non-conference match Tuesday.
The Crimson, ranked third in the state, won 25-17, 29-27, 23-25, and 25-17.
The Rebels- number eight in AAAA- beat Maple Grove twice last season, including in the section final.
The win for Maple Grove (15-3) was the team’s 11th straight.
Champlin Park drops to 12-5 with the loss.
