Heritage Christian Baseball Routs Legacy Christian to Claim Section 4A Title
For the first time since 2018 and just the second time in school history, the Heritage Christian Academy baseball team is headed to the Class A state tournament.
The Eagles defeated Legacy Christian 9-1 at Bethel University to take home the Section 4A title.
Heritage held on to just a 1-0 lead after three innings, but then exploded in the fourth, scoring six runs, including a two-run home run by Austin Madler.
Jonah Moulton went the distance on the hill for the Eagles and earned the win.
The Eagles head into the Class A state tournament with a 17-4 record.
