Heritage Christian Academy Boys Basketball Runs Past West Lutheran
The Heritage Christian Academy boys basketball team put up 57 points in the second half and ran away with a win over West Lutheran, 91-74.
The Warriors got off to a great start, leading by as much as 11 points in the first seven minutes of the game.
The Eagles stormed back and took the lead at halftime 34-31.
HCA outscored the Warriors by 14 in the second half to earn the conference win.
Heritage Christian Academy’s Owen Haag led all scorers with 27 points. Josh Sokeye (22), Aaron Palmer (12), and Abu Tarawallie (10) also all scored in double figures.
Brandon Knebel led the Warriors with 17 points.
The Eagles are now 13-3 on the season. West Lutheran drops to 4-13.
