Heritage Christian Academy Boys Basketball Ready for Return Trip to State
The Heritage Christian Academy boys basketball team is in the state tournament for a second straight season and the third time in school history.
The Eagles (24-5) beat Liberty Classical in the Section 4A final and despite their 24 wins, are seeded seventh of eight teams in Class A for state.
The Eagles feature a veteran team with many of the same players back from last season’s tournament team. HCA finished as consolation champions in the 2024 tournament.
Heritage Christian faces Dawson-Boyd (27-3), the number two seed, in the quarterfinals Thursday at 3:00 pm at Target Center. This is the first trip to state for the Blackjacks since 1991.
