Heritage Christian Academy Boys Basketball Goes Back-to-Back in Section 4A
For the second straight season, the Heritage Christian Academy boys basketball team is Section 4A champions, defeating Liberty Classical Academy 93-72 in the title game.
A late run at the end of the first half propelled the Eagles to a 15-pont lead at halftime.
HCA then outscored the Lions by six in the second half.
Five Eagles scored in double-figures; Josh Sokeye scored a game-high 24 points, Abu Tarawallie netted 20, Owen Haag added 16, and both Jonah Moulton and Griffin Booms chipped in 10 apiece.
Heritage Christian Academy was seeded seventh in the Class A state tournament and will face Dawson-Boyd on Thursday in the state quarterfinal round.
