Heritage Christian Academy Baseball Holds off North Lakes
The Heritage Christian Academy baseball team built a 7-0 lead and then held off a rally by North Lakes Academy for a 7-6 win Friday.
The Eagles improved to 9-1 with the victory. Heritage scored one in the first inning, three in the third and three more in the sixth to take the commanding lead.
Heritage starting pitcher Austin Madler was dominant, allowing no runs and one hit with 10 strikeouts in four innings.
The Huskies were scoreless through five but scored three runs in the sixth and three more in the seventh.
Heritage is facing Eagle Ridge/United Christian Monday in a doubleheader between the two top teams in the MCAA conference.
